The cast of Survivor: Fiji

The preview shown at the finale actually gave us some shots of the contestants. This is very unusual. Clearly, CBS doesn't care that much about spoilers anymore. They also don't like blondes, I guess. Nary a single one. That's got to be a first...

Here they are with my, um, insightful comments...

Here are our three thoughtful characters:

You're no Yul, my friend...

She may be serious here, but we have pictures of her flirting with a boy later...

Immediately, I want to root for him to win. I don't know why, but the image they chose makes me think this guy is important to the show.

Whoever said asians can't be bimbos?

He looks like a bruiser from the Mafia stuck in paradise...

Here are our three Crest commercial characters:

Love the fro, babe.

You're going home early...

Immediate threat, but I bet he's really likeable, too.

............................
He's the smart, strategic leader. ....She's going to real fun to live with...

I got nothing to say about these two.

The guy in the middle might be the same bruiser guy from above. Not sure.

Red-headed contestant? Or someone with a buff around her head?

And finally, an ironclad prediction. Here's your under the radar Final Four Survivor... so UTR, you can't even see her face!

New look

I've changed the look of the blog and all of the old stuff is archived here. Except something strange has happened and the posts aren't viewable. I still have all of them so eventually I'll figure out how to make 'em viewable again.

I have no idea if making it sparkly and new will mean I'll be more active on the blog. Don't count on it. But I have a week off from work so I have to do something to fill the time. Working in academia has its benefits.

There's a lot of info out there for Survivor: Fiji already and I'll be posting about it soon.

In the meantime, thanks everyone for reading my ramblings. When I get motivated, I really enjoy writing about this crazy TV show. I think it's easily one of the most unique TV experiences of all time when you factor in the spoiling side of things. Still a phenomenon after all these years.
